Kia Collision Repair Overview

The Kia Collision Repair Overview course has a lot of information that will help you throughout the repair process. Some information you will find in the course includes:

body repair manual (BRM) symbol explanations
spot welding and other welding requirements
repairability of ultra-high-strength steel (UHSS)
advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and calibration requirements for those systems

In addition, this course also gives details on where to find the following in the BRM:

sectioning
partial replacement at factory seams
rivet bonded joints
MIG brazing requirements
construction material
corrosion protection locations on the vehicles

These are just a few highlights of what this course has to offer. Having a good understanding of Kia’s recommendations, positions, and where to access repair information is important to help ensure a complete, safe, and quality repair.
