I-CAR Ford Mach-E Collision Repair And Electromechanical Repair Courses

I-CAR has developed courses for the Ford Mustang Mach-E, a general collision repair overview and a course that covers electromechanical repair.

The collision repair course goes into detail on the Ford Mustang Mach-E safety precautions and repair considerations. Also included is information on:

Vehicle construction materials
Repair, measuring, and sectioning procedures
Removal and installation procedures for glass
Safety precautions related to a high-voltage (HV) vehicle

With the rise in complexity, this course provides vital information to any technician seeing this vehicle in their stall.

The electromechanical repair course goes in depth on the HV system, and the drivetrain, Including:

HV battery parts overview
HV battery removal and installation
HV battery charging system
Supplemental restraint system (SRS) inspection steps

This course examines key systems in the Mach-E, helping identify inspection requirements and damage to the HV system.

Understanding what the vehicle is equipped with and what the vehicle is made of is important when it comes to performing repairs. Always follow OEM procedures to ensure a complete, safe, and quality repair.
