Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) provides a robust document on wiring repair that includes procedures, tools, repair materials, and cautions.
The Wiring Harness document is in the vehicle-specific Workshop Manual under: 4: Electrical ➤ 418: Electrical Distributions ➤ 418-02 Wiring Harnesses ➤ Wiring Harness (Description And Operation).
Per the JLR Wiring Harness document:
- "All supplementary restraint system wiring harness repairs must be completed using the recommended pre-terminated leads, overlays and the approved repair kit only."
